Kingdom War

Kingdom War Political Stakes Sven’s conquest of the Kingdom of Berigord and pressure on the Kingdom of Kigom create the political crisis behind the abduction plot. Supernatural Leverage The Highlander Clan is hired because conventional armies cannot defeat Sven directly. Zuzulla’s value is therefore political rather than merely personal. The plan turns one princess into the pressure point of an expanding war.

Princess Abduction

Princess Abduction The Capture Carden watches Zuzulla’s movements and takes her from the forest before her guards understand what has happened. Strategic Consequence The torn dress and disappearance send Sven’s army searching for his daughter, exactly as Kigom’s rulers intended. The kidnapping transforms a distant military conflict into a personal hunt.

New Highlander Life

New Highlander Life Reversal of Allegiance Zuzulla begins to doubt her father’s rule and chooses not to return, even after learning that Carden’s people are the Highlanders. Irreversible Bond Carden marks and claims her, making her future inseparable from the clan he once expected merely to serve. Their intimacy converts a hostage arrangement into a new political and supernatural allegiance.
